A good source for open source software is http://sourceforge.net/ - Some of the installers on sourceforge do include bundled software, but there is usually a small "Direct Download" link under the install button that will install only the app you are trying to install. It is still always best to go to the official download site for any product in order to avoid PUAs.@ wrote:

Google has recently made updates to their Ad policies to help eliminate ads for third-party downloaders and has made it very easy to identify the official download sources for software. You can see our blog about that here.
