May I ask what type of file are you posting about and where are they located?
Example: If you are posting about removing files in your documents > Right click the document and hit delete.

To add to what PTD said...if I may...if the files that you are referring to have anything to do with Webroot and/or WSA do not delete anything but please come back here for advice as you could cause yourself issues.
If you can identify and let us know which folderrs and which fies then we can advise as to whether they would affect WSA/Webroot in any way, etc.
