Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Is the subscription running out of time on it? Then yes remove KAV and or wait till it runs out of time then remove KAV!

Thanks,

Hi MBCURRY48

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As a previous user of KIS which I ran in tandem with WSA for a while whilst I was evaluating the latter I would say that unless Kaspersky has a feature that WSA does not and that you cannot do without then there is nothing to be gained by running both. WSA will run lighter than the Kaspersky products so why have the drag of it on your system.

Having said that WSA will play nicely with Kaspersky and so should not force you to uninstall it but if running both toegther it would be wise to make sure that (i) the key components of Kaspersky are registered under the 'Block/Allow' option (under the PC Security tab in WSA) & (ii) the key components of WSA are registered for exclusion under Kaspersky.

Hope that helsp alos?

Regards, Baldrick
