i bought a new cd WEBROOT secure anywhere to replace the expiring one i had.  Keycode input was accepted and subscription now says 365 days, BUT it keeps saying subscription is going to expire.  WHAT?

Welcome to the Community Foums.

 

I am suspecting that the subscription expiring is coming from your previous keycode which is is still active. Therefore there  is nothing to worry about (you should get this deactivated to stop the messages but will come to that later).

 

What concerns me more is that you have posted in the Complete foum which suggests that you are using that version and therefore may be using either one or both of the Password Manager and/or the Backup & Sync features. If you are indeed in that position then please be advised that as the data associated with these features is keyed on the keycode you will not have access to the data stored/passwords recorded under your old keycode when using the new one, and if you do not contact Support very quickly to get them transfers from old to new keycode you will lose them permanently after 30 days.

 

So if the above is the case for you then please Open a Support Ticket ASAP and request the transfer of data (you will need to provide both old & new keycodes,and email address, etc.).

 

EDIT: My apologies...I forgot about the expired or expiring keycode. Well, the case of that one, you can either just put up with the messages until it has expired or if you want to get rid of it sooner then when you are sure that you have no more need of it you can ask Support to remove it from your Account. Having said that I have several lapsed/expired keycodes hanging around and I have never bothered to get them tidied up...so it is not essential that you do so.
