For several months the site rating in Chrome and Explorer has been off line. Is this a well known problem and if so when will it be restored?

Hi alwatson
Welcome to the Community Forums.
There was an issue a while back but that should have been sorted so please check and let us know (i) what version of WSA you are running & (ii) what version of the Webroot Filtering Extension you are running under Chrome & IE. Let us know if you need help in determining where to look to get hold of that information.

Baldrick,
I thought I had that subject tagged, but evidently not as I cannot locate it at the moment. It can become a little complicated, but the easiest possible fix might be to do a Clean Install of WSA.
If that does not work, we can find the directions to forcefully 'push' the current Web Filter extension into Chrome and see if that will do the trick.

Another quick thought: It is possible to enable/disable automatic extension updates. Perhaps it was disabled?
I need help finding the WSA level. The Chrome extension is 1.2.0.14 and shows Eabled. The Excplorer extension is 1.1.0.59
Is the pop up message programmed into the WSA program?

Hi alwatson
Just hover your cursor over the WSA icon in the notification tray area or open the main WSA app and in the main panel click on the My Account tab, that should then reveal additional information including the version you have installed.

The Product says Complete. The version is 9.0.4.7
You have all of the correct current versions, so if the Web Filter is enabled, yet still not working when you use Google for a search, you may want to submit a Trouble Ticket to have Webroot Support take a look. Support is free with your valid WSA license.
I have not heard of anyone still having a problem at this point as long as everything is up to date.

Hi alwatson
This is all very strange in that I have tried setting up the same configuration as you and am not having an issue so I am going to suggest that you do an uninstall/clean install of WSA to see if that fixes things for you. It is very easy & quick to do and if you would like to try that then please follow these instructions:
If your subscription is directly through Webroot, you will need to contact Webroot Support. You can do so by submitting a Support Ticket, or by phone during business hours. (The online Ticketing system is manned 24/7). The service is free for WSA users with a valid/active subscription.
If your subscription is through Best Buy Subscription Software services, you may need to call them at 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD.
Hope that helps?
