I received a Security news article email from
webrootsecurescoop@service-webroot.com. After performing a whois on this domain name, I am finiding that it is not registered to Webroot Inc. Is this legit or phish Also webrootanywhere.com is not registered to webroot company - is that legit - I hope so as this is the site I log into when going to the Webroot console. Yikes Joe

Hello there, welcome to the Community!
webrootanywhere.com IS a legit domain, and it is the correct one for the Console. Just a note about the listed owner, Prevx. That is a company that was purchased by Webroot, and the scanning technology at the core of WSA. It is quite OK.
I am really not sure about service-webroot.com however. I do not recognize the owner, so I would be much more hestitant to trust emails from this domain unless someone can provide more information.
@ Are you familiar with the service-webroot domain?

Well after a little digging it's not a legit Webroot Domain and not Trustworthy so I would stay away!

That's a good question - let me check on it.
So the correct from email for those is webroot@service-webroot.com
And I'll get Brightcloud to update the reputation on that, since we know it is good 🙂
