Hello Kennyp42,
Welcome to the Community Forum,
Would you disable Webroot to see if this is stopping you from accessing the internet?
If so then would you mind doing a clean reinstall of Webroot?
Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!
@ do you have further advise?
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?
Thanks,

- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?
Thanks,
Hi Kennyp42,
Welcome to the Community Forum.
The only thing that I would advise other than what Sherry has is to perhaps firstly try, very temporarily, to shut down WSA's protection and see if doing that returns access. After all, if it does not then no harm done, you cannot connect and if it does then all you need to do is click on the desktop icon to re-enable the protection, before undertakingw hat Sherry has suggested.
So, to shut down protection just RIGHT click on the notification area icon (Green 'W'), select 'Shut down protection' from the context menu displayed, enter the CAPTCHA code requested, and click 'OK' and that should close WSA down. Quickly fire up a browser or the like and see if you can now connect to one of your usual sites/or try what you were unable to access before, and then depending on the results proceed as per the above.
Hope that helps?
Regards, Baldrick

I'm also in the same boat. I installed webroot on my laptop windows 8 and now i canot access the internent. Is there something i can try to fix this?
Hi Intermenttx
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Have you tried the advice provide in the 2nd post in this thread...that usually sorts the issue out? Alternatively, you could try checking to see if it is WSA causing the problem by following what I have posted in the 3rd post, and then if that confirms it you should follow the advice from Sherry.
If you have tried all of that and you are still having not joy in terms of a solution then post back and we will consider what further we can help with to try to sort it out for you.

Hi Intermenttx
Have merged your recent post with the thread you posted in earlier as the answers you are looking for are in that thread as previously advised. Just look at the posts above these latest ones.

I tried that and that didn't work for me. Is there something else i can try?
If that is the case then I thinkthat the only option is to Open a Support Ticket so that the Support Team can take a look/try to see what is causing the issue, etc.
Do come back here and let us know what they say as it will be of assistance going forward re. any users who come here with the same or a similar problem, and what we have suggested previously also does not work for them.
Many thanks in anticipation.
