I'm upgrading my OS and it needs to reboot a few times before it can finish the install. I need to be able to shut down the webroot software PERMANENTLY until I turn it back on. Is there a way to do this without doing a total uninstall of the webroot software?
I can shut down protection but after a reboot it's back up and running. I even went to the windows startup file and unchecked it and it still came back on???
Do I have to take it out in a field and shoot it to keep it off?
I read a post from 1 1/2 years ago that says to uninstall webroot. Is that still the only fix?
Thanks for the help!
