Mac will not allow me to install Webroot

I am trying to install Webroot on an old Macbook. After I click on the screen to download Webroot I get a box that asks for my user ID and password. After entering this information and clicking install, the box just shakes, and does not begin downloading. Why is that?

    Please check these requirements for the Mac..
     
    Webroot offers antivirus protection for PCs, Mac OS®, and mobile devices (Android™ and iOS™).  The system requirements for Webroot SecureAnywhere for Mac are as follows:

        Mac OS® X v.10.7 "Lion"
        Mac OS® X v. 10.8 "Mountain Lion"    
        Mac OS® X v. 10.9 "Mavericks"
        Mac OS® X v. 10.10 "Yosemite"

        128 MB RAM (minimum)
        10 MB Hard Disk Space

        Apple® Safari® 5.0.1 or higher
