mobile security device actions disabled

Hello,
I just purchased Secure Anywhere Complete and the setup was easy and quick. However, the Mobile Security Device Actions in the Web Console are deactivated (greyed out) and I cannot perform any of the device commands. I have a Samsung GS5 with Android 4.4.2. I have set the administrator access and restarted the device.
What would be the next step?

Hi gakjarr

Welcome to the Community Forums.

You firstly need to get the correct version of Webroot onto your Android device.  Please read through this KB article to help you achieve that.

And we can take it from there if you have any further question or indeed issues.

Thank you for the welcome.
Based on that article, I have the correct version installed.

You are welcome.

Now, have you activated the version of Webroot on Android?  If not then I believe that all you need to do is to tap the Android Menu button from the main screen of the Webroot app.  Then tap Register.  Then tap Activate and enter your Premier or Internet Security Plus keycode.  Then tap OK.

I am not expert in Android (I use Windows Phone myself...;)) but I believe that once you have the Android version activated and because you already have a Web Console account set up you should now find that the Mobile Device options in the Console are no longer greyed out.

Performing that step was part of the installation process on the device.
I noted that the Mobile Device security Status (web console) shows Device Protection as Turned Off, but on the device it shows as Turned On.

I got it to work by turning off device protection on the device, and then turning it back on.
Quirky things like this are annoying.
Thank you for the help.

Hello there friends!  If I may step in for a moment?

EDIT:  Looks like you beat me to it!  Well done, glad it is working now! /EDIT

Open WSA on the ,mobile device
Click "Identity & Privacy" at the bottom'
Click "Lost Device Protection"
Make sure that this is enabled and turned on.

Let us know if this helps.  Also, if you have not already done so, after verifying the Lost Device Protection, manually run a full scan.  Often the Console will not update correctly on a new install until the first scan has been run, and changes sometimes do not show until a scan has been run.

Thans for the assist.
Yes, sometimes I get lucky and try the necessary quirky action that fixes the issue.
