How do I generate a password (which is done easily), but then move that generated password to a site already existing in my list of sites.
I have generated a password but it does not show up in the passwords list. This tells me I am not doing something the right way. I must not be finishing the process of generating and saving that generated password. And then being able to more it as described above.

I believe that what you are looking to do is best explained in this previous post. The post is a little old but I have checked the screen shots included for Chrome and they still look very much current.
