I am not even sure I am on the right forum. I just renewed my subscription with Best Buy(Geek Squad) and all it says is Webroot Secure Anywhere for 3 PCs etc.  Please redirect me if  necessary.  Please also know that I am a very computer inept senior.  I made a total mess of my console and even I don't know what is what anymore.  I wanted to protect my PC, current smartphone and tablet.  I have 4 items on my console, (actually, I think I have 4 consoles instead of just one with the items I want to protect)  I have 4 different keycodes (I think 3 of them are the free protection) and  I desperately want to get my 3 current items under the paid keycode and get rid of all the other stuff.  (I believe my computer is already under the paid keycode number) Any advice would be very greatly appreciated.  Thank you

For most support, those with a Geek Squad subscription would need to contact Best Buy, but not in this case... You ARE in the right forum.  Issues with the Console can only be handled by Webroot Support.  You have a couple of options, but all of them are a NO CHARGE.

 

Call Support at 1-866-612-4227 (M-F 7am?6pm MT)  There may be a bit of a hold time depending on what time of day.  Be at your computer so you can be logged into the Console when talking to support.  This will help you be able to explain and describe exactly what you need done to the Support tech.

 

Submit a Trouble Ticket:  This would be, I think, the second option for your situation.  I feel it would be harder for you to explain to the Support tech exactly how you need the Console by way of internet messages.

 

 

NOTE: Again, for most support issues you are supposed to contact Best Buy/Geek Squad, but as a former Geek Squad Expert from the Subscription Services program I know they cannot fix this for you.  All they would be able to do is try to take down the information, and then submit a trouble ticket of their own to Webroot.  You will have a better, faster result contacting Webroot Support directly in this case.

You are most welcome, and I assure you MY Console is in worse shape than yours... I need to take my own advice one of these days and get it cleaned up of old key codes, etc  :)
Thank you so very much!! I just got done speaking to a wonderful, patient young man at Support who took care of my console problems. (Thank you too for alerting me to be at my console so he could walk me through) I cannot tell you how relieved I am....any confusions I have I happily put off to my age. I just cannot get over how remarkable all of this technology is!! Awesome!  I am glad that was all taken care of with minimal difficulty!  We have quite a few people here who love to help, and often we can without having to go to Support, but I am glad Support is so very good at what they do as well!
