Can i do?

Hi MrPres
It does not work like that. I presume that by 'basic' you are referring to the Antivirus version and by 'full' you are referring to the Complete version?
If so then please be advised that there is only one installer for all versions and it is the keycode that you activate the software with that determines which options are available/which 'version' you run on your system.
If you Wife has a subscription for more than one device and is not using them all then you certainly can just enter the keycode of the 'full' version that she uses to be able to also have those features avaialble on your system.
What I should point out at this stage is that doing so will result in you effectively losing the remaining time on the 'basic' subscription that you have as switching keycodes DOES NOT deactivate the old code as you start using the new. they run in parallel.
If you decide to go ahead just do the following; click on the gear/cog icon to the right of My Account:
and then enter the new keycode and click on 'Activate':
and that should open up the 'full' version.
Let me know if yo do decide to do this as there are some considerations I need to make you & your Wife aware of re. sharing the 'full' version, around the Password Manager, etc.

woul. Hers is installed on her laptop
Not sure I quite understand...but suffice to say that it does not matter where your Wife's version is installed as long as the subscription she has is for multiple devices, i.e., 3 or 5 AND she is not using all of the devices quota.
