Webroot installed by Geek squad with MS10 Pro & fresh SSD on my PC. I’ve used Webroot for years and love it but never recall seeing this notice after running system analyzer, “No antispyware installed”.

@randalpoirier ,

Are you referring to a windows message in your control panel saying that you don’t have a firewall enabled? If that’s the case, it’s most often just a visual glitch. Most people see a few computer restarts or a webroot uninstall → reinstall getting rid of this message.

Let me know if that works for you!

Hello @randalpoirier and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

See this old thread and try a clean reinstall: https://community.webroot.com/webroot-secureanywhere-internet-security-plus-13/system-analyzer-message-233369

Thanks,

Thanks for your responses and I did try the old thread method that took me down the rabbit hole. I registered the product with webroot yesterday and could not download the new with key code. When I used the best buy avenue I ended up with the same results “no spyware”. Since this is an on going issue I’m going to bring it up with the Best Buy service management team to perhaps remedy the issue with the correct installer.

@randalpoirier Yes it’s best to contact Best Buy GeekSquad: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/geeksquad-register

But to let you know WSA is a full Anti-Malware which covers everything even Spyware so I would just ignore what System Analyzer says as I don’t even use it myself.
