When I click the webroot icon in firefox, it brings me to the home page, not asking if I want to have passwords entered. How do I get this feature back

Hi yfriedman
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Not sure if you have seen this current thread on the general subject of Firefoc 40 & WSA? May I suggest that ou read it as whilst it might not refer to your specific issue I am sure that you will find that there are things afoot over at Mozilla in relation to how it handles (or deos not handle) extensions/addons...and given that the situation is 'fluid' (for want of a better word) you may have to be like the rest of us a patient in terms of a resolution to your issue...which I am sure is linked to all the others we are seeing.

Had similar problem. Here is how I fixed it. Opened firfox browser and clicked on menu button on far right side of toolbar. Clicked on "Add-ons" button. Went down to "Webroot Password Manager" and clicked on the "Remove" button. Once it was removed from firefox, I closed my browser, then I used the "toolbar fix" program from webroot to reinstall Webroot back to my browser. When I reopened firefox everything was working fine. Hope this helps solve your problem.
Hi Dennis2 - this did not work for me.
Not sure if this will make a difference. The Webroot toolbar fix has two options. One is to Uninstall the webroot toolbar. Choose this. Then go back to your browser and remove the add on as presented in the previous message. Once done, close your browser. Go back to the Webroot toolbar fix and reinstall the toolbar. This will put it back on your firefox toolbar and back to your Add on files.
Hi Dennis
I understand that this has worked for some but not others in the same way that an unistall/reinstall of Webroot also does for some but not for others. It looks like the whole thing is somewhat flaky at the moment as a result of Mozilla's actions but I am sure that the Webroot development Team will, as per usual, get to the bottom of the issue eventually.

Where do I find the webrot toolbar fix?
Hello there,
Here is the link to the toolbarfix.exe Please remember, some users have found that it helps the current issue with the Password Manager in Firefox, and some have not. It is certainly worth a try, and pretty quick and simple to use.
I hope this helps!

O.o
Talk about a blast from the past...
Okay, so this is fun. One listing for the Toolbar Fix downloads the older fftbfix.exe utility that Iw rote several years ago. That re-installs 3.11, and doesn't work.
The Toolbarfix.exe downloads and installs version 2.50, which DOES work.
HOWever... as soon as Webroot updates, it re-overwrites 2.50 with 3.11 which is the current version and is broken.
So, at this point, Webroot and Lastpass need to coordinate to fix their stuff and make it stop not working.
