I recently bought a new Product Key, and just entered it on my current Webroot window. The console verifies that it's a working product key, then begins the initial scan. Then, immediately after the scan, the window goes back to my old subscription, which has 1 day left. Will the new Product Key kick in when my old subscription is expried? I don't want to waste the product key again in order to get it to work.

Hi kac1010
Welcome to the Community Forums.
May I firstly ask if your subscription is via Best Buy, i.e., you purchased you copy of WSA from Best Buy or if it was purchased either direct from Webroot or from other 3rd party retailer. I ask because the way the licensing kicks in differs depending on the version you have.
Either way, there is no reall issue as if you have just 1 day left on the current keycode (the one that was reverted too) then I would just re-enter the new keycode once the current subscription expires. The subscription itself is for a number of days and as such you can unistall webroot/re-install Webroot as often as you like...there is no limit...all that happens is that with the Webroot subscription once the license has been activated is it starts to count down to 0 days. In the case of Best Buy I believe that the new subscription starts on expiry of the old...but as there is only 1 day at stake here hopefully there will not be a major problem.
Please do advise back as to how this turns out for you...we are always interested/gald to get feedback from users who have posted an issue in the Community Forums.
