My speed is being affected since I installed Webroot, so I am looking into it. Why are there always 3 Webroot programs running when I check Task Manager? Two look identical as listed in Tast Manager. I am running Windows 10. My computer has slowed down since I added Webroot, and it may be due to this, but I don't know. Should there be two identical-looking versions running at the same time? Thanks!

Hi Falcon
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
The items in the start menu are important.. do not disable either. What they do is check for any updates to WSA and the browser extensions such as Password Manager. It does give a bit of drag at startup, but not for long and they sit idle other than that.
Please have a look here: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/Installation-Folder-and-File-Locati.
Hope this helps

Okay, I will leave them alone. But I still need to get to the bottom of my run speed problem. I am not talking boot speed, that doesn't bother me if it takes a bit longer. But my run speed has been significantly affected. How can i diagnose and correct this problem?
Hi Falcon,
Would you want to try a reinstall of Webroot? To see if that helps?
Please follow the steps closely!

- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again
IMO there is no speed problem from WSA. Please Submit a Support Ticket as you may need your files whitelisted in the WIN Cloud Database and that should solve your issue.
