In my webroot app, I can go to uninstall it and it doesnt ask for my password to do so. Could a thief just do this if they get my phone and make it impossible to do any recovery options? It is Webroot Complete. Thanks!

You don't have a passcode on your phone?
Yea but if they would crack that, why doesnt the app make someone use the password to uninstall it? It makes me use the password when changing certain settings.
a. how are they going to crack that?
b. if they can crack that then can't they just crack our app password using the same magical process?

Im just wondering if this is just a problem with my install of the app or does it really not need a password to uninstall it from the app itself? I definitely see your point but if that was the case, why would you be asked to use a password to turn off certain settings and such within the app?
We used to have that but Google doesn't allow that on Android anymore so we had to remove the feature. Android won't allow a password to uninstall an app.
Ok, thank you for the quick replies!
Sure thing!
