The icons that show up when you search something on google are showing up but the web shield isn't popping up to warn you that a site might not be safe. All shields are enabled and I already rebooted. I'm switching to a different antivirus company if you guys don't fix  this.
Hello ?, welcome to the Community!

I have just opened FireFox 42, and my Web Shields are working correctly.  It is blocking pages for me, so it is working here.

The only problems I have seen documented on the Community recently regarding FireFox is the browser Extension SOMETIMES not correctly flagging the search results with the reputation notation, and then only when the default search is set to Yahoo, and the seach is done by use of the quick search bar at the top of the browser, AND only from certain geographical locations... This would not have any impact on the issue you are seeing as in these cases web pages are still being blocked correctly.

Have you tried to do a clean re-install of WSA to see if that will help?

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

If this does NOT fix the issue, also please submit a Trouble Ticket to have Webroot Support take a look.  This is free for anyone with a valid WSA license.

Thanks,
It worked! Thanks!
