If I did not renew do I have to wait for my current Webroot to expire before adding my new purchased Webroot or should I just uninstall the old one? Tthanks

Hi poobear
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Firstly, do you have the Best Buy version or the Webroot version (purchased either directly from Webroot or other retailers)?
If you have the Webroot version then if you have not renewed but purchased a new subscription/keycode instead then you can certainly enter the new keycode into the current version and the new subscription will start there and then. In fact the keycode controls the features of each version hence there is no need to uninstall what you have currently installed.
Hope that helps? If not please ask further questions and we will try to assist further.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
To add to what Baldrick has said and I see you posted in the WSA-Complete Forum if you have renewed the same keycode your fine, But if you are installing a new keycode you will lose your Passwords from the Password Manager so you should save them all before doing so, Also if your using the Back Up & Sync you should save all the data again if you use a new keycode you will lose your Back Up & Sync Files so the Best thing to do is Submit a Support Ticket and put in the new keycode in the Ticket and ask them to add the time to your Current Keycode then you will not have any issues with your Passwords & Back Up & Sync and no need to change the current keycode.
Thanks,
Daniel 😉
