I am a new user of Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete. I previously used AVG Internet Security 2015 which is still active on my Windows 8.0 Laptop. Should I uninstall AVG?

Thank you,

Tom

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community Forums!

The choice is yours. Webroot SecureAnywhere can either replace or work alongside your
existing antivirus software.
Webroot SecureAnywhere is fully compatible with other mainstream antivirus products and
will work alongside any existing antivirus software to detect and remove any threats it
misses, and to protect your financial and personal information.
You will not be asked to uninstall your existing antivirus when installing Webroot
SecureAnywhere.

This is a very informative video of how SecureAnywhere's technology works that will most likely answer any remaining questions.

IMHO: I advise you to remove AVG

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

One thing about WSA it's very light on resources and the installer is about 755kb and it uses about 3 to 6MB of RAM as all the work is done on the WIN Cloud and not on your system: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php

Thanks,

Daniel ;)
