Windows 7 os recently infected

I believe the source is the file NlsLexicons0416.dll

I have scanned nearly every other folder successfully. For whatever reason whenever it reaches the stated file it doesn't progress. Webroot isn't frozen as ticker continues to increase.

I tried unregistering the file but I received the following message: "the module was loaded but the entry-point dllregisterserver was not found"

Any ideas or suggestions on how to proceed or eliminate this threat? I find my computer sometimes freezes up after a while. The busy icon pretty much stays on constantly after booting up, even in safe mode.
Hi Rhynofunk

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Please take a look at this previous thread that references the 'dllregisterserver' issue.

In relation to the failure of the scan to complete that may be due to a faulty WSA installation and therefore you could try to uninstall & then clean reinstall WSA, to see if that will resolve the issue. If you would like to try that then please follow the steps below closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and do NOT import any settings if offered by the installer; to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
and then try the same scanning operation that failed/did not complete previously.

If you have any further question about the 'dllregisterserver' issue or the above does not resolve the scanning issue then please post back and we will see how we can help further.

Regards, Baldrick
