I used Webroot Complete (CD installation) for a year to protect a laptop, two cell phones, and one iPad Mini.  The product expired.  I purchased and installed the same Complete product (CD) on the laptop (which was a real pain).

Finally, after a successful installation, I proceded to the website where I was given a choice (as I understand it) of:

1) adding the new keycode to my existing console, or

2) creating a new console for the new keycode.

However, no advice was provided as to why it was best to make one selection over the other.

I just want to keep protecting the same four items, and maybe add one more.

Also, it is not clear how I can the keycode assignments on the three mobile items.  When looking at the first phone I did not see any way to change the keycode associated with that phone.  Or is that done via the console by listing our phone numbers to the new keycode?  And, if so, how does one regester an iPad that does not have a phone number, but only has Wi-Fi access to the Internet.

I am very frustrated by the lack of instructions and guidance in replacing an expired product.

G'morning  Rob and welcome!  All apologies for the difficulties that you are having.

I personally cannot speak to the CD installation, but perhaps if you were to open up a support ticket with Webroot Customer Service you'll be in good hands.
Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

You should never let a subscription lapse as you posted in the WSA-Complete Forum so that means you have the Password Manager as well 25GB of Back Up & Sync I don't know how long it's been but there is a short time frame for Webroot to recover your Data and Passwords if you used those features? So do as Jeff said and Contact Webroot Support as they are the only one's that can help you!

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
