Webroot does not clean the registry.Webroot only scans for Malware. Look Here

 

Webroot has System Optimizer if you are using WebrootSecureAnywhere Complete.

WSA will cleans the Registry when it scans ONLY if and when it finds malicious Registry entries that have been inserted there by a malware attack. It will only focus on these and not on anything else in the Registry.

 

If you want to undertake wider Registry claening then you will need to use the System Optimizer (for Complete & Antivirus for Gamer users only) but even that is limited when compared to some of the standalone 3rd party Registry Cleaners avaialble out there.

 

I will not recommend anything here other than to say that I have used System Optimizer and have never had an issue with what it does to the Registry.
