Hi,
I spend most of my time in China and I've been having a problem with Webroot SecureAnywhere such that the software fails to connect to a server. I can see this when there is a small red circle with a white exclamation point over the Webroot icon on the menubar of my Mac (running El Capitan).
I used to think it was related to my poor internet connection in China and the Great Firewall, however, I've been traveling back in the U.S. with a speedy (Comcast) internet connection and I am still getting the error a lot of the time. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happends enough that I'm concerned. As far as I can tell, my Mac is running without malware (according to Webroot).
Any idea of why am I having these connectivity problems? Thanks!
Chris

Hi Lavaflow
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Are you actually getting any sort of message associated with what you are reporting, i.e., specific message about not being able to connect, or is it just the notification via the icon?
The reason I ask is that what you are reprting sounds very much kike an alert about malware having been detected. Have you checked Quarantine to see if anything has been put there by WSA?
