Title says it. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate.
Hi jbcasler

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Have you check in the Chrome Add Ons/Extension Manager to see if the Webroot Password Manager extension is installed and if it is whether it si enabled.  If it is not enabled then please try enabling it and seeing the icon now appears for you?

Unfortunately, this sometimes does happen and to try to resolve it you can try running the Toolbarfix tool.  You can download it for here.  Once downloaded launch it by clicking on the executable, and you should see the following, if then that is fine and you should click on 'Run':

which should then take you to the following dialog:

on which you should choose/check the option 'Repair/Install the Webroot Toolbar' and then press 'Start'.

That should initiate the fix process and you just have to wait for it to finish, close the dialog and then check in your browser to see if the Password Manager Toolbar icon is now visible.  If the fix has been successful you should see the following greyed out icon in a toolbar at the top of the Chrome browser page.

Hope that helps?

Nope, didn't work, sorry. Followed the directions, still no icon in Chrome.
Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Can you try a clean reinstall of Chrome and also where are the files located? In Program Files or AppData? Also is your system 64bit you can install the 64bit version here: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html?platform=win64 Also you might need to do a clean reinstall of WSA!

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
Do I need to turn off the "Save Paswords" option in Chrome to make this work?
You are not by any chance using the portable version of Chrome?  The reason I ask is that none of the portable versions of browsers are supported...as I have found to my cost.

Your best best to try to get this resolved is to Open a Support Ticket and let the Support Team know about the issue.  Hopefully they can provide a solution.

Turns out, I have WR Secure Complete.

Don't know if that makes a difference.

And, no, not a portable version of Chrome.

No, that should make no difference at all...unless you have Antivirus which you do not.  Password Manager is a feature of both Complete & Internet Security.
Well, was woth a shot.  You should either try Daniel's advice and if that does not work then opene the support ticket, or go directly for the support ticket.
