1-What purpose does the Webroot toolbar serve?
2-Why does the note at the bottom of my screen return after I click "DON'T ENABLE"?
Thanks

1. It allow access to the Password Manager/enables it so that it can prefill your credentials for sites.
2. Note really sure as to what yo are referring to here?

Hi Baldrick....(do you ever take a day off?!?!)
1-Since I am not using the Password Manager, I guess I don't need the Toolbar.
2-Because the MESSAGE AT THE BOTTOM OF MY SCREEN just disappeared, I can't quote it, but it says, in essence,
DO YOU WANT TO ENABLE THE WEBROOT TOOL BAR? It has 2 clickable responses: ENABLE DON'T ENABLE. I click DON'T and it disappears, only to continuously return whenever I return to my PC. Will it ever disappear permanently?
Again, thank you for your continuous presence and assistance..

Hi cpmadava
Actually this is sort of a hobby...just love the Community and the people in it...:D
1. Yeppers, if you are not using the Password Manager or do not intend to use it in the future then no need to install the extension.
2. I would recommend that you do install the toolbar but then go into the Extensions page and disable the extension so it is not used. That should prevent the reoccurence of the message.
Let me knmow if you need any guindance on the disbale process.
Regards, Baldrick

Hey! Baldrick...thanks for your "hobby"!
Will follow your advice. If it works you'll hear lot of silence.
Again, much thanks, cpmaddave
