First let me say that I have an ongoing attempt to block or remove what malware I believe was installed on my PC when a SSD was added.
OK,
I was taking a look at windows "allow programs to communicate through windows firewall" today and there are 30 exceptions.
Would it be a problem if I set it back to default and see exactly how many have been added ?
Also why do most of them have the public box also checked ?

Reset the firewall to default and it removed a large portion of the items. Everything seems to be fine as far as the PC is concerned but I do have a question about the "Remote Access" boxes that are checked in green.
What does this mean ?
Sorry about the flash. Its the best I could do.
Day two = I removed remote access items so now its on to the "Core Networking" conundrum listed below.
Can I disable some of them?
