I was getting the blue screen of death when I changed to a wireless keyboard and mouse.  After researching I came across information on the internet saying that this was a webroot problem.  Has this been fixed?
Hi christinerbarr

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry that you are having this issue. There have indeed been reports here in the Community regarding Microsoft wireless keyboards, Windows 10, & WSA. Please have a look at this Webroot Article concerning this.

Please post back to let us know if this resolves the issue for you.

Regards, Baldrick
The issue that Baldrick has mentioned has been fixed for awhile now: https://www5.nohold.net/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=12&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&solutionid=1131&

So try a clean reinstall first and if it continues Submit a Support Ticket as it could be a simple thing of getting the Keyboard Drivers whitelisted in the Webroot Cloud Database.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • Be sure you add your Keycode to your Online Console: Webroot SecureAnywhere Online Console
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Geek Squad Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and do NOT import any settings if offered by the installer as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
