When I start a scan, Webroot says "preparing to scan" but the scan never starts even after hours of "preparing to scan."  Webroot has worked well for over a year but I have had this problem for about a week now.

 

What is the fix for this problem?

Are you running a Mac pc? If you are it's best to Contact Support which is free of charge with a Webroot subscription and they will get this corrected.

Hi again. Usually a uninstall and reinstall can fix this issue. If you are familiar with this procedure.
