Hi,
Can anyone tell me an exact answer to this question of our customer?
Let's suppose they purchased 1000 WSA Business Endpoint Protection licences and once during the licence period they will realize they have 200 more (Windows) endpoints to protect and they will install the WSA client on these endpoints, too.
What will happen:
- technically? (eg. over the licenced number the rest of the endpoint client will not protect, or will they?)
- commercially? (eg. Webroot will contact us the reseller in order to invoice for the additional 200 seats?)
Thank you in advance!

Technically nothing bad is going to happen - everything will continue to work.
I'm not sure what the threshold is for us contacting you, but we mostly rely on IT administrators to do the right thing and true-up their licensing when they can. We do it this way because we don't want licensing issues to stop you from being protected, and we know that most all IT admins are stand-up people. So just contact your rep here and they can get you squared away.

We have this situation in our company. We originally purchased 350 licenses, but are now using a lot more than that. Our rep monitors our usage on a monthly basis, which we then confirm, then we are billed accordingly.
