Do you mind updating your site?

I think you are blocking Bethesda forums and I can't find anything newer than one year old  to instruct here how to check this.
None of your pages have the current information on them and I can't see how to check if you are blocking them or not.

Really special that you change stuff but you don't bother on updating the customer instructions.

:@

Why is this? Where exactly to look to see if you are blocking them or not??!!

Your website information is still outdated by more than one year.

My question is still unanswered.

Hi @  and welcome to our little corner of the web ;-)

I also am not having any issues accessing  http://forums.bethsoft.com/.  As @  mentioned, I see a score of 96 as well.  The site is listed as Trustworthy.

When you say "Your website information is still outdated by more than one year" could you provide a link or two to some specific examples?  I'm afraid I also have to ask that you maybe re-word your question so that one of u canbetter answer it for you.  For example, what instructions do you need?  Let us know; We're here to help! 😃

Hello SpiritedTreasure!

Good to see you here in the community again!

Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulty finding updated instructions.

I see several responses regarding the website you questioned as well as asking for clarification regarding information/instructions you are looking for.

May I ask which version of Webroot you are currently using and for which device you are seeking updated instructions for?

There is a vast amount of information in the community Knowledge Base, The Webroot website has provided the  Webroot SecureAnywhere Help and Product Guides as well for your convenince. You will find instructions for PC, MAC and Mobile devices there.

Webroot also provides user guides for the Business module as well.

Sorry you feel your question has not been answered.

We are volunteers, customers just like yourself sharing our experiences, learning from one another and helping eachother out.

I would also like to tell you that Webroot has an excellent Tech Support Team. You can contact them 24/7 by submitting a support ticket

I highly doubt this is a Webroot issue my gut feelings would be the following.

1) Block IP range in your host file (Spybot used to cause some issues doing this)
2) 3rd party program blocking access
3) Router settings
4) Installed plugin causing an issue

Hi Jeff

Would not disagree with you and I have actually always want to hook up a UPS to my system to protect it...but the reality of the situation is that over here in the UK we just don't get the sort of storms, very often, that you are describing.  And also being a geographically small nation compared to the Ol' US of A our power infrastructure is less vulnerable.

So a combination of both the above means that for me it is not really a cost effective solution.  But from the sounds of it a must in your neck of the woods....;)

Wonder what Daniel will make of that and whether the Ottawa power supply systems are in as precarious a position as those of Montreal sound...LOL

Good question!  It's been many, many years (1988-1990) but I believe the entire system was rather fragile... Hopefully @  can shed some light [ pardon the pun ] on if things have improved or not :p

Nothing suspicious in the log file; please remove it from your post as it could contain confidential informations. If needed support will ask you to send them the log file.

One more thing to check; open a command line(CMD) and see how the URLs are getting resolved by your DNS server.

But for now have some sleep and rest from this problem till tomorrow ;)

Welcome aboard and please do come often!

My ISP took me through some steps and I'm in now -s-

1. Turn off modem (dsl) -Unplug it .
2. Disconnect Ethernet cable from computer
3. Turn off computer
4. Turn on modem and wait for power light to become solid.
5. After waiting at least 10 seconds turn the computer back on.
6. Plug the Ethernet cable back in.

She said unplugging the ethernet cable is important and something most people don't do. Also she said the steps have to be done exactly this way.

Thanks you all very much and especially Beth who stayed up half the night with me..

Even if thundering and lightening, as long as you have it plugged into a surge protected socket (and they are as cheap as chips to buy...and thorougly recommended), you should be safe.

Personally I switch off our router whenever the PC is closed down, unless someone is needing to use their tablet.

All very good points, but I took it even one step further... a few months ago during a rather "electrifying" Florida afternoon T-storm, I came to the conclusion that I would never ever again spend a wasted 6 hours due to the nanosecond flicker of power that would re-set the modem and cable box (re-set time during a full re-boot averages 10-15 minutes each).  The surge protected sockets are quite good, but in this neck of the woods the $65.00 that I spent at BestBuy was well worth the investment.

This is only ONE of many choices out there... My own preference was a CyberPower 625VA UPS [ http://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups-systems.html ]

lol... Understood my friend... I look at it this way... At least I'm not still living in Montreal where the power grid was so unstable all you had to do was sneeze and the lights would go out! [of course, they always blamed it on solar flares :p ]

Well in Oshawa about 3 hours from Ottawa I live in Between 2 Nuke stations and there are times we have Brown outs (Power Flickers) but not many, but I do have my Home Theatre system on a UPS as well as my Laptops, Modem/Router and phones just for protection who cares about a toaster. LOL The brand I use is and have 3 of http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BE750G-JP&total_watts=200

Can you explain what your trying to say or ask not much to go on? As the others said it's not being blocked never mind what it says for age 13 months.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
We searched for "how to use" instructions and found a pdf document that was from back when webroot used to list everything on the page. It had a settings button .

I do not see any settings or anywhere to check to see what it is that you have blocked or not blocked and I also don't see any way to view anything that I could or might block myself or unblock..

I'm reading Product : complete 8.0.4.104

I've pinged and gotten 100% loss on four packets sent , twice.
I've tried the ipad and I've tried the pc.. Nothing.
I also can't get in on IE, I'm using Firefox 31.0 Which by the way STOP forcing your password thing on me. If you think I am going to give you all my passwords, I'd like whatever it is you are drinking. Not going to happen.

I've just tried again and it's not loading.. This was from last night around this same time.
I visit that site every day. I've modded for Bethesda. NO way would they knowingly put something unsafe on their site.
I've modded for them for years..

I just suddenly can't get in and I thought maybe you had them blocked. I still can't get in.
I wanted to check and the information we were able to find was a pdf document on how to use webroot that is outdated maybe more than one year.

Have you checked Quarantine?

Do you have a Mac or PC?

I will be happy to give you further instructions if you let me know.

Thanks,

Beth
I have a pc. The only Bethesda site I can get to load is the elder scrolls online. Nothing else Bethesda is loading for me.

I don't see "Quarantine".. This AV is very user UN friendly IMO.
Zenemax also is not loading.. That is their parent company.
