how do i know that my home computer is security enabled network ?

when i open my computer and click on the ''connect to '' icon, ,my computer shows up as ''owner -pc-network''    other computers in the area show up as 'computer enabled network'    how can i dxetermine if my home computer , " owner pc network' is a security enabled network
