Hi,My Webroot has suddenly changed to oriental characters. WTF??

So Webroot prompted me to run a scan the other day.  I did so, all was good.  Closed it normally.  Today I noticed when my cursor passed over it popped up with what appear to be oriental characters.  I opened it, and everything is now that way.    What the heck???

How can I get rid of "Strong Signal" and its associated ads?

This product and ads should be reclassified as malware.  Any way to to Webroot Secure Anywhere to get rid of them?  I tred Malwarebytes, but it didn't get rid of them.  Any help appreciated, especially simple methods.  In a related area, is Acer Portal bloatware?  Any good reason not to delete it?  Thanks!

Installation BSOD

   Trying to avoid a WRkrn.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BSOD, on my next install. My guess is, a workaround would be, if I could install just the program, *precluding the initial scan*, then reboot. IOW I suspect that a reboot prior to the initial scan will avoid the BSOD.      Is there an install parameter, or escape procedure to avoid the initial scan, during installation?   Thanks, JH

technical support

I have a complaint on the supposed tech support on the phone last evening. I had a question on installation on a tablet for webroot. I never have experienced anything like this from any customer service. The language barrier was an issue, but I certainly did hear very clearly many times language I or any educated person would not use in a conversation, let alone on the job as this person was. Several times I was asked how much I paid for each device I had - this is totally none of the technicials business. The issue I was having was never addressed. The only thing I did receive was a sales pitch to upgrade my security to a more expensive one.  No, they did not solve the problem - did not even attempt to solve it. And no, I declined to purchase anything more since they could not even assist with the product I had already puchased.

Computer Security At Risk Message

I have WebRoot antivirus but when I returned from lunch the following message was on the screen: 'Computer Security At Risk. Call Customer Support at 1-888-xxx-xxxx for assistance on how to remove the potential virus.' I had to shut completely down to move on.   Why am I getting this? I don't think WebRoot is protecting my computer like it should and it is current.  I did call the number. A "Tech" said they provide support for Microsoft although the Microsoft name is nowhere on the virus message I recieved. I opted not to accept any "assistance".   Any thoughts?

Password Mangaer

I am using Gooigle Chrome I have installed the Login! bookmarklet on the toolbar I have entered into my Webroot account sites for my password manager to allow for auto login. I DO NOT see any Webroot Icon Installed on my Chrome Browser. The bookmarlet for auto login does nothing. Can you help me out? Thank you

How do I remove a PC from my list?

I installed webroot on a computer that I was giving to a friend to see if it had any viruses (the virus protection that was installed was out of date) but I just uninstalled it on that computer how do I remove it from the list of PC's that are protected when you login to your Webroot account? Its still saying its protected. Thanks!

I am trying to install Webroot on a second machine & it tells me there is no license under my name

I am trying to install Webroot on a second machine and I have the code but when I try to download it says there is no license under my name.  I have it on my desktop and I am supposed to be able to put it on three machines if I want but I am not having any luck.  Can you help me?
