Webroot® WiFi Security
My WiFi Security program starts and runs fine, but when I try to disconnect, I see a message that says “Failed to disconnect from [my current VPN connection]”. i tried uninstalling/reinstalling the program and it had no effect.
Hello!I had to do a clean install of the operating system on two of my MAC computers. Now that the OS is installed I am trying to reinstall Webroot WiFi security. I was able to install it on one of the computers but not the second. I am receiving the “too many open sessions” error message. After doing some research online here I realize it may have been necessary to de register the WiFi producer before I did the clean install. Now, after the fact, I need to de register several devices. How can I do that? By the way, I have a 5 device subscription.Thanks,Carmen
I need to log out of a device that no longer functions in order to log in to Wi-Fi security on another device because it says "too many open sessions" some of the devices are not even turned on! How do I fix this???
When I open Webroot wifi security a green box opens up with a orange box saying "Connecting" the flag has a circle going around and around but never says it connected. Using win10 and chrome. Is this what it's suppose to do?
Hello' This morning it seems that my Wifi on my Android will not connect at all. This worked perfectly yesterday and before that. Stays on this screen and I've tried connecting to other places but same thing. Please advise. My Android has been rebooted. After logging in my Webroot Wifi security is not connecting. The icon just keep spinning and the orange tab says connecting. It has been doing this all morning.
I’ve already renewed my wifi security on June 16 and it is still saying I have to renew.
How can i tell if VPN is working on my desktop, always seems to be connecting, works fine on phone and tablet

Does Webroot Wifi Security (vpn) filter out Google’s tracking? In other words, when connected to Wifi Security, is Google still able to capture my location, IP, etc., data?
I understand from a business standpoint why a VPN is useful. As a home user, I was interested in keeping my data private. I've had Wifi Security for about 3 days now and have been trying out a few things on it. I am not interested in doing anything illegal with it or violating copyright laws. After the first hour of being connected to the default server of Mexico: 1) Facebook wants me to verify my identity because it sees me logged in somewhere else 2) Microsoft wants me to verify my identity because it sees me logged in somewhere else 3) My bank warns me that I'm logged in somewhere else and wants to make sure it's ok 4) Netflix warns me that I'm logged in from a different country and then warns me that I'm violating terms of service if I'm logged in through a VPN) 5) Apple warns me about the same thing So...if I'm not doing anything illegal or trying to violate copyright laws, is being threatened to remove my Netflix account and Apple account and having to verify my iden
WebRoot VPN is very squirrely. I would like to know if anyone else has the same issue. My laptop usually updates late in the evening, automatically, if I don’t do this manually. Windows saves everything and when I bring it back up the VPN keeps trying to connect. The last time this happened I called tech support and they told me I needed to manually shut the computer down and start it over again. I find this to be problematic as I run many applications and web sites at the same time and doing this is very time consuming. After I did this VPN still did not connect and I had to uninstall and reinstall to get this to work properly. It has done this again and if there is an alternative method I would sure appreciate the insight. I will strongly reconsider another VPN recommendations.
Intermittently i need to turn off my VPN before i can go on line. Sometimes when my VPN is working when i am on line it is disconnecting and connecting.
Are all of my devices protected? 2 android phones, 1 android tablet, 3 wifi televisions.

Hi, I have been using SecureAnywhere, and I decided to buy the Wifi Security as well. So, I downloaded Webroot Wifi Security. The problem is when I login to it, it gives me a ‘Login Failed’ message stating ‘Check your credentials and try again. If you have not verified your account using the verification email, you must do so before logging in.’ This is on my Windows 10 laptop. Everything, that I can see, is up to date. I checked my credentials, they seem fine. I changed my password just in case that was it, but still the same message. I also tried this on my Android phone, but to no avail. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I have changed my password numerous times and I still can not get into the system for WiFi Security. Please cancel this part of webroot for me, It has been over a year and I still can not get in.I love the regular webroot program and will continue with that. But WiFi Security just does not work for me.Thank you.Ralph W. Agar, Jr.
I added my networks to the setting and it will not work when I click connect. In order for me to get on the internet I have to disconnect which defeats the purposes of buying it. I need help.
A few years ago I discovered Webroot and am convinced that Webroot Secure Anywhere is the best cyber security package available anywhere. Because I am a big Webroot fan, I was very excited when Webroot decided to offer a VPN. I was part of the Beta program and posted at that time, among other things, that my connection was erratic and it kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I was hoping that this would be resolved when Webroot released its final VPN product. Over the past couple of months since the release the Webroot VPN it disconnects and reconnects much too frequently as to make the product unusable. This occurs at all the different servers but the two in the US seem to be the worst. At times I am disconnected from the internet and it will not re connect. The only way to get re connected is to quit the Webroot VPN. This happens with the kill switch on or off, makes no difference. I have no connection problems with Webroot VPN not runni
Unless something is installed incorrectly, which I’ve read numerous reviews similar to my issue, I wanted to see if I can return the VPN package I purchased. I’ve tested it for 2 days now and it messes up on my phone and computer. I can’t use it if I wanted to because it slows my computer down so bad that almost nothing works, plus it hardly connects and stays connected. My school and job won’t allow it. I don’t think it’s any other issue considering the reviews I read. I wasn’t aware that Webroot is also new to this which explains it. When I run a speed test without being connected to the VPN my Mbps is always around 37, and when I’m connected it’s usually around 5 Mbps or lower
After installing the WIFI security, it tries to connect to the automatic location and it fails every time. Can someone please help me with this? thanks!
I love webroot secure anywhere, but I really don’t like the wi fi security. It just disconnects too often. Anyway I know when my webroot secure anywhere expires but I can’t find when my wi fi security (vpn) expires.
When I try and log on on the internet, it says I am not connected. When I turn off the wifi security I can connect to the internet.
What countries can be used in your VPN service ? Is Asia one of them - a safe country ?
