how do I find a list of devices I have loaded webroot?

I replaced an iMac with a new iMac but failed to delete webroot from the old one. Webroot is currently working on the new iMac, but I belive that makes me have 4 devices running webroot.

Webroot Mac Security Daemon - CPU pegged

This is a constant problem on Big Sur.  Machine fans always blaring and CPU ~75% constantly for this process.  I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled a few times.  Scan is always running.  Losing patience, paying for 35 seats and everyone’s complaining.

Subscription Listing Error

Running on MAC OS Catalina and on the Webroot start screen it notes that my subscription is not activated, or at other times it just says subscription.  When I go to My Account section it notes that my subscription is active. The last tech who worked on my program felt that this was a problem and that he would check into it.  Never heard anything back, so has this happened to any of you and was the problem ever corrected?

Threats Detected, but where are they?

I am having issues with Webroot Secure Anywhere.  It’s telling me there are Threats Detected.  But, when I go to Mac Security, their are no Threats listed. I am running mac os Catalina 10.15.4.  Webroot Secure Anywhere version is 9.1.0.139.  See attached pics for more explanation.

Mac Big Sur

I have Mac Big Sur and the latest Webroot 9.1.4.123 the scan gets stuck in preparing to scan with no progress how do I fix this?

right click scan option on Mac after Big Sur upgrade

Hi I’ve had this problem before and got it working on a mac (can’t remember how!). I’ve just updated to the latest macOS (Big Sur) and again the Right Click scan option is not there?im sure there’s a security setting the macOS needs me to grant access, but I don’t know where or how? any help is much appreciated, bart

Webroot won't install on Mac OS Big Sur

I recently received a keycode to update my expired Webroot but everything I have done to get it up and working isn’t. I uninstalled the application, saved the keycode and attempted to reinstall. I get the application into my Mac but when I attempt to click on it to open, the top left hand side shows the application name but it does not show anything else on the top toolbar. It also does not go any further than that, no matter how many times I click it to open. No matter how many times I uninstall and attempt to reinstall, it keeps getting stuck on that step. I can’t even attempt to put in the new keycode to finish installation. I’m looking to see what other options are available.

Can't update Webroot 9.1.0.144 on Mac Big Sur

Couldn’t get Webroot to update from 9.1.0.144 before Mac Big Sur update, so updated to Big Sur then tried to update Webroot again. Both times, Webroot accepts my keycode, then Mac accepts my password for change permission, then it goes to an “Installing SecureAnywhere” screen with an “Installing SecureAnywhere” loading bar which only goes part way and freezes. It looks like I have the “Webroot Filtering Extension Mac” on Google Chrome already. Why won’t Webroot finish authorizing installation of the update?

Webroot Secure Anywhere Compatability

Despite comments I’ve read Webroot Secure Anywhere 9.1.4.123 :1563 is not compatible with OS Catalina 10.15.7. In my case Webroot is in constant scan mode and as it near completion is throws up an error message that's filled with coding. Once you close that the scan process starts again and I believe this problem is causing other minor issues although Webroot tech support have assure me my computer is still protected. When I last spoke to their second tier tech support they said they were aware of this issue which has affected some, not all, users and that a new release of Webroot would be released in late November 2020. That hasn’t happened and now I’m debating whether to upgrade my MAC Book Pro to OS Big Sur or wait till Big Sur has an update to iron out the initial bugs? Anyone else having this issue???

Scanning on Mac Pro gets really slow

I have been using Webroot security for almost a year now and it never gave me any issues. While 2 days back I installed cleanmymacx and since then Webroot is acting like crazy. Although I uninstalled cleanmymacx but the virus scanning on my Mac becomes really slow.The complete scan which Webroot usually do within 3 minutes before cleanmymacx, now it is taking like forever.Please guide me as what to do in this regards. I already have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Webroot but it didn’t help. ThanksAdnan

Mac doesn't show up in PC Security after Big Sur update

I finally got WSA to install on my MacBook Pro after the Big Sur update, but now it doesn't show up in the PC Security section of the dashboard. I have deactivated all devices that no longer use WSA (in fact, that was the solution to finally getting the install to run on the Mac) and I have plenty of room for more, but only my Windows laptops show up. The Mac is nowhere to be seen, even after running several scans. Is this just another glitch with Big Sur?

User Added Files

Just loaded MacOS Big Sur on my MacBook pro. Webroot picked up 2 files they said  were “user added” threats.I don’t remember loading anything besides the new OS, but I might have unintentionally clicked on some malware.  The 2 files are: /usr/libexec/runningboardd  and /usr/libexec/mdmclient.Anyone know if I can remove these files without creating another problem?

Subscription : Account not activated message

Good afternoon,I just installed Webroot secure  anywhere  to my new MacBook. I switched from windows based system. I get message on home page,Subscription: account not activatedI sign in to my account it shows I have over 150 days left until renewal. Is this normal for Macs or is there a way to fix it so it shows it is active?   thank you in advance George Capraun

Webroot draining Macbook battery, eating CPU, tired of troubleshooting

I’ve been dealing with fast battery drain since buying this new macbook pro. I spent over $1k on this  laptop and could not even leave it unplugged at night because while it slept the battery would drain. Removing chrome seemed to solve this, but I like chrome. Someone suggested installing chrome and removing webroot. I didn’t want to do that, I’ve been a webroot customer since 2007, back when it was PrevX on my system. Finally tired of the problem I tried it. What do you know, worked fine. Still though, I didn’t want to go without webroot. So I changed over to another browser and kept webroot. Battery has held up fine. Lately it’s started getting slow though, so I began digging. Webroot Daemon was eating up my CPU. I have never even seen webroot daemon in my activity monitor before now. I’ve about had it with webroot. I’m tired of constantly having to tweek my preferences around their touchy system. It seems to be getting more & more touchy every year. Any suggestions on something

Webroot not working on MAC

I just update my cataline and now my Webroot is not working.  I know it wasn’t supported as a 64bit software and I’m assuming thats most likely the cause. I reisntall it and see if its compatible or not. I followed the instruction but but the link brings me to the webpage to buy it. Any help on getting it back would be helpful!

Suspicious Activity Detected - system folder modified

On my MacBook pro I get the above message when I start up the system. Threat Detection Shows NO THREATS - Webroot is Confusing

Why is Webroot showing there is a THREAT in Orange but the scans show NO threats. This is really confusing and frustrating to see this. Cant rely on Webroot if this is not going to get fixed ASAP. This is on a MacOS Catalina.

Just installed today's update - SecureAnywhere 9.1.4.123

Hi everyone.There was an update today (Oct. 14, 2020) for Webroot SecureAnywhere for Mac. The screen turned yellow and the update button appeared. I didn’t see any product announcement on the community forum to get more information about the update.This update is 9.1.4.123. The previous version was 9.1.3.103.I went ahead and installed the update anyway on my Mac with Catalina 10.15.6. So my experience was basically the same as last month’s update.I just want to share my experience with this update...To download and install the update, I clicked the “Update Now” button (see screenshot below). The console will appear yellow. Be patient... It will take about 1 or 2 minutes for the product to update. At first you won’t see anything happen after clicking the button and you might wonder whether the update is working at all. Don’t panic, and don’t press the update button more than once. After a couple minutes you will see two Webroot icons running in the Dock. Let the update proceed. Both ico

Prevent Scanning Mapped Drives

Hello,macOS Big Sur 11 (20A5395g)I have installed SecureAnywhere 9.1.1.66:1520 for the first time. I’ve selected “unmanaged” within the web panel to allow full option control via the app.Advanced » ‘Scan Mounted Drives’ is Not selected.As the “View Scan” » ‘Scan Window’ does not show the full path of the current scan, I’ve been watching the progress and can identify from the last few characters of the squashed file path, that it’s remote mounted volumes.The scan is into the 8+ hours already and showing no signs of ever completing due to the number of files available on my mounted volumes.How do I stop mounted volumes from being scanned? How do I see a proper full path of the current files being scanned?Thank you.

How do you get rid of a threat on a backup drive

I have a thread on a drive on my IMac attached via thunderbolt cable...Webroot wants me to "detach" all drives to clean the threat, however the virus/threat is on the backup drive??

Cleanmymac not working after installing webroot

Hi guys,My friend is using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 and ever since I installed webroot on her mac, cleanmymac is just not working anymore. Also, I cannot access the user interface of Webroot on her mac either. Any help?

Catalina version 10.15.7 for Mac - is this compatible with SecureAnywhere for Mac 9.1.3.103?

Apple just released macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on Sept. 24, 2020. Details of this update is available on MacWorld.This update will likely be the last before Apple releases macOS Big Sur 11, later this fall. Has anyone come across any incompatibility issues or problems running WebRoot SecureAnywhere 9.1.3.103 under macOS Catalina 10.15.7?
