Install Webroot with Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Hi,I am trying to install Webroot SecureAnywhere through Microsoft Endpoint manager so that when the computer syncs up to Intune and pulls the deployment profile and the apps to install this is automatically installed as well. What am I missing? Pictures attached for reference. I place the license key where GUILIC=0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000. I also make sure the correct group has the devices in it and are in the required group for assignments. Any help?

Internet Security Complete??

I bought my program as a package through Best Buy (Internet Security Plus), but I was a Webroot fan/customer for many years before that.  Yesterday, I was able to use the “Optimizer” function in the Utility page.  Fast forward one day (today) and the option is gone and it looks like that option is only available with the Internet Security Complete subscription.  Is the Best Buy subscription only for Internet Security Plus, or should I be getting the Internet Security Complete subscription?  Thanks, Ken McKinley

Hello, I have the Android Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App (ver. 5.5.6.46428) installed on my Samsung phone.  Yesterday, I was helping my parents (83 & 85 years old) setup their new Motorola phones and was trying to download the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App, but couldn't find it in the Google PlayStore.  The only Webroot App I found is called Webroot Mobile Security (ver. 6.5.0).1.  Is the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App no longer supported?2.  Has it been replaced with the Webroot Mobile Security App?3.  Does the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App still function?  It seems to be running okay on my Samsung Phone?  It runs scans and shows the number of days remaining in my subscription okay.4.  What is the Webroot Mobile Security App?  Does it still run on demand scans of all files and Apps on Android phones?5.  It looks like it is only a web browser App that looks at the users browser activity when you use that App (Google Chrome)?6.  Does

No detection from Webroot upon downloading various Eicar files

Hello,Out of curiosity I downloaded various Eicar files from here:https://ipinfo.info/html/testvirus.phpI was able to save most of them in a folder, without any reaction from Webroot.If I scan the folder , the are detected as “malicious” , but no reaction when I downloaded them.I have “Scan archived files” and “ Check files for threats when written or modified” selected.Theoretically , these Eicar versions should have been scanned upon download.

Keyboard issue with Synergy on Mac

Hello,I need to have Webroot on my macbook pro m1 max computer for work. I currently use Synergy 1.10.3. on a mac and a windows system.The system allows my mouse to work but for some reason it doesn't allow me to use my keyboard. Is this a port issue or is there something in Webroot?  Thank you. DF>~

Webroot and Easy Anti-Cheat?

So what’s the time frame for a permanent fix for the issues between Webroot and Easy Anti-Cheat?I created a support ticket a while back to get this fixed, but after learning you need remote access to my PC in order to fix it, I decided not to continue. I managed to fix it myself by uninstalling Webroot, let the game (Black Desert Online) open up it’s menu and then install Webroot. It’s been working fine until now, where they sent out a patch./Mikael

multiple pc's on same security key

While i was on a help desk call to quicken, I was told I should have webroot to protect my computer. I could buy a lifetime subscr1ption for $249 plus tax for a total of $266.00. If I did not buy the subscription, the help desk call would be $99. The billing department told be the charge would be $299.99.After I set up my account with webroot, I saw that 95 pc's were using the same security key. sa5c-ttbb-xxxx-xxxx-67daThe charge was processed through paypal. The company as Removed email address for privacy concerns!

How do I scan an entire network drive?

I have a small NAS attached to my network. I have it mapped as the Z: drive on the computers on the network. I want to periodically scan the drive with Webroot from one of those computers (I don’t care which one, as long as I can get it to work). That does not seem to be possible right now.When I right-click on the Z: drive in File Explorer and select Scan with Webroot, it only scans the root directory and quits. If I select a folder below the root, it scans that folder but none of its sub-folders.So, it appears that on a mapped network drive Webroot is unable to scan anything more than a single directory at a time. This is a problem/defect that appears to go back at least 8 years. The only other reference I could find on here was a topic that was created 8 years ago describing the same problem. The most recent post in that topic was 6 years ago and the problem still existed then.Has the defect been corrected since then? If so, what do I need to do to persuade Webroot to scan more than

Yellow padlock over Webroot try icon.....

… does not appear on Firefox (even though in settings is a “protected application”)It works perfectly on IE and Edge , but not on Firefox. Is this a known bug? Thanks.

is Open Link Pro-Browser Compatible with Webroot

To able to access my company’s site I have had to install Open Link Pro-Browser.  Webroot is not able to  complete any scan on my Mac  and I am using Catalina10.15.7.   This incomplete scan also occurs when I am not in Safari/Catalina. and just reading my personal emails.  Can this problem be solved? and how can it be fixed?Thanks for any and all help

Firewall doesn't work in SecureAnywhere CE22.1

Hello,Firewall doesn’t work in Antivirus (I have installed on 4 PC) I select “Warn if any process connects to internet ...” and I get no alerts.Also, I can block certain processes , yet they are able to connect to internet.

Renewing WiFi Security

I renewed my WiFi Security on January 12, 2022.  I downloaded the renewal software several times.  The old subscripton expired on February 10, 2022.  Now when I try to connect the red connect box just says “renew” and won’t connect.  I purchased a Secure Anywhere renewal at the same time and got one keycode for both products.  How do I get WiFi Security to accept my new subscription and connect again?  Bill P

Webroot is only scanning for Malware.  Is this another issue caused by recent Windows 10 update?

Firefox won't open when Webroot is active.

This happened six years ago and it is happening again.It doesn’t seem right to have to turn off Webroot to use a popular browser. Is there another way?

Webroot blocking Firefox 97.0 64-bit

Today Firefox updated to 97.0 on my windows 10 machine.  When I restarted my computer, nothing works in firefox anymore.  I can load it once, but I can’t browse to any webpage or even pull up the settings or about Firefox menu.  When I close it I cannot open Firefox again.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.  I eventually tried installing the 32-bit version and it worked.  I reinstalled the 64-bit version and found that if I close out of Webroot completely it would work normally.  It only works if I shut down webroot completely.  If I turn off individual shields (or all the shields) it won’t work, but exiting webroot causes firefox to instantly start working again.Webroot gives no indication that it is blocking anything.  Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Macbook not scanning - First Scan Not Complete

I got Webroot SecureAnywhere & for the first 2 months it scanned fine and now all of a sudden it says “First Scan Not Complete” and is stuck on “preparing to scan”. I’ve tried uninstalling & reinstalling and doesn’t seem to work. Any suggestions?

I cannot get Webroot to install on any newer Mac OS systems?

So we recently partnered with Atera who provides webroot 1click installs on PCs, but Webroot installs on Mac machines is VERY problematic.  We have different versions throughout the organization and NONE of them are working properly. I have a handful of 11.6 Mac OS, some 12.1 and am using the latest version provided by Webroot (9.4.1.27/WSAMAC.dmg) yet they all fail at the same place.  The user doesn’t get to provide full disk access during the initial install.  We circle back and grant the full disk access but the Mac endpoints are not showing up in my webroot console.  All of my PCs are in there without any problems.  I have tried that version on 11.6 Mac OS and 12.1 today.  They both *seem* to install, but none of them actually check-in properly.  These are in different locations so I know it isn’t a FW blocking a port or something to that effect. I really need some help as we are on a deadline and have to choose between Webroot and BitDefender by Friday.  Some help would be greatly

WSA is slow!-,Did I install wrong, or...?

 Win10 Pro x64, v 21H1 (going to 21H2 soon...)I have a 5ghz CPU/ 16gig Ram/ 500gig 6x optical SSD C: drive (with only 40gig used)/ 100mbps cable internet-This is a Very Fast Desktop, and no reason for Trusting Programs... to be sooo slow (with buggy ESET NOD32 AV), and went to Webroot SA AV, which is a little slower (Computer is no faster after a reboot).Every time I do a Windows Update (Install a new AV...), I have a list of 12 common... Programs/Utilities that I Fully open/close Twice to get them Trusted (Is there a better way??).I also slowly... open/close my Google Chrome browser 4-times, before it is fast.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~With all other AV’s I’ve had- I install them from a desktop folder download/reboot, before the hidden taskbar icon… is useable, then Trust Edge/ Chrome to get Extensions installed/Trusted….I did the same with my last Webroot install, but getting programs like Word/Foxit Reader… Trusted takes twice as long as before!?~~Should I have have installed diff
