WSA is almost always orange, even when nothing found.

I know I have discussed this before, but I am still seeing this behavior, I still think it is a bug, but it makes the tool annoying because IMO it is always crying wolf. A scan just completed and it was “green.” Another scan started almost immediately, and everything orange immediately to start (as seen below.) Even after a green scan just finished, the color of Webroot app was, and is still, and is almost always orange.  This makes no sense to me. What actually is going on here and what is the app actually trying to indicate here going orange after a green scan?  The results tab was also empty FYI.Then, after the  scan shown below detected no threats, everything went back to green, until the next scan started, and then orange again. But it does not always do this, just most of the time.So why is it orange immediately after a green scan? That makes no sense, and causes me to “run and check it” when I really do not have to. But how would I know if it is a false orange or a real threat?

Webroot Carbonite Popup - Not going away

Yes I have rebooted as the “help ticket” as suggested.    Whenever I reboot my machine and I am fairly regular about that the pop up keeps coming up to sign up.  I have and yet its still there. It doesn’t do this on my desktop only my laptop and will not go away unless I click it away.  I will say that I created the account from my Desktop machine and the problem is on my laptop. It is very annoying and there should at least be an option to disable those sorts of things.

Carbonite Intrusion

My Webroot has been unobtrusive until recently. Now, every morning, I get a pop-up telling me I need a Carbonite account. My attempts to comply have been frustrated (and frustrating). When I try to log in, it doesn’t like my credentials. It says it will send me a code but never does.Why is this happening and what can I do to get rid of it?

renewed subscription for android but keep getting request to update

get an note important update available from secureanywhere.  I click on continueit takes me to get the new app, i click on that shows webroot mobile security.  I select open, then get the option to uninstall old app.  I select that and say ok to unistall app, it doesn’t do anything just sits there

new Webroot App screwed up everything

Jusrt tried installing the new Web app you wanted me too.  Now I can’t uninstall the secure anywhere app;  I can NO LONGER login with my password & am I supposed to do this on all my devices as so far my phone & chromebook are screwed up!!? Please advise & solve or refund my $$.  A company is only as good as their support - so far it has been a nightmare.  An hour looking for answers that should have been a breeze. Joseph Quarto~ Removed Private Information, Phone Number ~ PTD

Webroot services persist after uninstall

After uninstalling WSA, the core and sky services persist, causing problems with other software. Because they are placed as system files, they resist normal and reasonable means to remove them.  They also resist removal by people with some technical skill. And other AV programs. And Webroot’s own cleanup executables.  I would think that software that cannot be uninstalled by the computer owner with reasonable effort would qualify as malicious.  Of course, sending in a support ticket has gotten zero response. I approach an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone.

As per topic I have lots of expired keys - how to delete them?Also I am sure I could just manually add keys here? Can’t seem to do that either….As per topic - how to do this? I can switch between consoles but not delete unused / expired?

False positive of domain workdrive.zohopublic.eu

We, Zoho WorkDrive are a Cloud based Content Collaboration Software provided by Zoho Corporation; check this link - https://www.zoho.com/workdrive/ for more details. Our product has a feature which allows files/folders uploaded to WorkDrive and can be shared to everyone on the internet by generating an external link for the file. These links are hosted in a domain https://workdrive.zohopublic.eu owned by ZohoCorporation. and is used for file preview.The domain "workdrive.zohopublic.eu" is now listed in Webroot as malicious - https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/578f2c41f827d53ecec3fae43352ac8bce0faf12d89f36e79a683f42b5064de1 . Some of our customers complained about accessing public WorkDrive files. We noticed the blacklist, since the domain is used by a large number of customers a blanket ban is hurting our customers.  Here are the steps we perform to ensure that malware content does not get hosted from Zoho WorkDrive       1. Webroot Secureanywhere for android in Europe

Hello! I have just bought a two year renewal for my Webroot Secureanwhere but the android app is not avaliable on Google Play in Sweden anymore!? Have also tried to get in in Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia and Germany but  the app it´s simply not avalible there either?? Have tried to get help from the support but they simply can´t or don´t know why if and when the app will be avaliable again in Europe as before!?Can anyone please help me with a list of contries in Europe where I can download the app since I´m lost without the app!Best regards,Lars M.

What is going on with Webroot?

Every day it asks me to sign up for an account. I already have an account, but I can’t access it because the “forgot password” link does not work.. Also every day Windows asks me how I want to open this file, but it does not tell me what file, so I told it to use a text editor. It opened a file named program, which appeared to be an exe file. Windows complains about a file named program, which it says may keep some applications from working correctly. Clearly Webroot is AFU. Should I cancel my subscription and try a different product? I emailed support but got no response.

Linux version of Webroot SecureAnywhere

As far as I can tell there have been 6 requests for a Linux version of Webroot SecureAnywhere posted in Ideas Exchange but there is no hint of anything being developed along these lines. Are we to take it that this is just not on the radar? There seems at the moment to be only one other product which offers realtime protection for (in my case) Ubuntu - ESET - and that requires some fiddling and contortions to get it working with the latest systemd which appeared in Ubuntu 15.04. I would rather be using the same AV product across all our household machines - Windows and Linux. Is any Linux development likely to happen - or does it look completely non-viable from a commercial perspective?

How to solve Handle-leak explorer.exe and other

Hi all,The system analyse from Webroot Secure Anywhere reports f.e. a handle-leak(explorer.exe) with a system analyse from tools.Sometimes it occurs only while running a program. Running Microsoft Edge and Facebook together and closing  these a scan also results in this message. After restarting the computer this is solved. How to improve my system? In my opinion these messages must be taking serious. Kind regards, Jan Florijn

scans disabled and last scan date changing

Hi! I'm having an issue with Webroot where it seems to be turning itself off and on automatically.And all scans seem to be frozen or disabled, where it'll just say "0 files scanned" and processes "not scanned". The time elapses fine and continues changing as expected (1 second, 49 seconds, etc.) but nothing else changes during scanning.Last scan time and duration, on the other hand, keeps changing. It alternates between "last scan 1 day, 22 hours ago" with 4m 34s and "last scan 2 hours ago" with 2m34s duration.It only changes when I try to start a new scan or every few minutes, but keeps alternating between those two specific timestamps. (There is a third variation that now says it was last scanned <5 minutes ago, but still has the 2m34s length and still reverts to the other two)The number of total scans also keeps changing, from 1 to 3. No longer shows the 200+ scans.Next scan part of the menu alters between "Not scheduled" to "20 hours". I've also seen the phishing shield turn its

Issue playing Call of Duty Warzone (2022)

I was a huge fan of Warzone and played it non stop until Vanguard came out but the new version of warzone was having major issues but Vanguard itself was fine. The biggest issue was the input lag. Took me longer than I want to admit that it turn out to be Webroot becasue it was fine once I unloaded the software. I have to admit I just disable it temporary when playing. Anyone experianced the same before I work out what I need to exclude?

Really Long Scans on Mac

This started with Big Sur and continue in Monterrey, but more and more we see really long scan times on Macs. By really long, I mean several days. So long that I often see 3 or 4 scans running at the same time and slowing down the machine significantly.Is anyone else seeing this? Have a solution?
