Scanning time date problems

Hello Webroot,   I scanned my laptop and (15) fifteen minutes later went back to the laptop to learn that the scan process had not taken place for (5) days.  Any ideas as to why the scan date and time was not (15) fifteen minutes ago when I scanned the laptop?   Thank everyone for the great advice .   Have a great weekend.   DAvid

trying to get ipad mini protection and can't get it to download onto ipad device.

I have used 3 of my 5 devices from subscription I purchased on Sept 9 of 2014 for 1 year. Trying to use number 4 on IPAD mini device. Please help with getting it to download? Thanks Cheryl

How can I get Internet Explorer or Google Chrome to work once this software has been installed?

Ever since I installed Webroot, the functionality of either Explorer or Chrome has gone down hill. I get messages saying I"m not connnected to the internet, unable to display page, Explorer quit working. I had no issues before Webroot!  Has anyone else experienced my issues???

Time Machine backup software

I know some of you use this software. I tried it on my laptop and it worked fine. I think I might have had Norton 360 installed at the time. I was going to buy the 3 pc license but then I decided to check it on my desktop. I installeded it. Webroot was running on this pc. After the install, my internet wasn't working anymore. Maybe it just happened to go down at that exact moment? I rebooted as instructed. Was concerned about the internet. When the pc restarted, I was happy to see that the internet was back. I tried running the backup, but nothing happened. After several tries, I found an error message. I don't recall what the exact error message was. (I'll explain in a moment.) But I looked it up online. There was some indication that there was a conflict with Shadow Protect. But I don't have that product. You have to pay for it and I didn't buy it. Besides I never heard of it until I attempted to use Time Machine. Nontheless, I checked for it in my list of programs but didn't find it

how to remove bing bar?

When I click on a new tab, this bing bar appears on blank page.  How do you get rid of it?  Went to control panel to uninstall but did not see it listed.

Webroot Secure Anywhere interrupted Windows Media Player download; what is malware threat?

Webroot Secure Anywhere Antivirus detected malware and threat of infection while I was in the process of downloading Windows Media Player for the Updated Windows 8.1 OS.   The threat has been removed; but I don't understand the nature of it or what I can/should do to avoid a repeat.  Could there be something in my "Settings" that is leaving me open to threats?

Detected but not Removed

Hi,   I am currently using Windows 7 x64 PC and using Webroot Secure AnyWhere AV.   I normally tend to do a quick deep scan to check for Malware(s). Never has Webroot detected any Malware(s) when I do a Deep scan but now for some reason when I did a full scan it says "active threats: 5" and "Threats Removed: 8".   I understand that maybe Deep scan did not detect few Malware(s). Then I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials and ran a scan with that as well to find few malware with the following name:   Trojan:Win32/Delf.M VirTool:WinNt/Siapag.gen!B Backdoor:Win32/Farfli.A Trojan:Win32/Lodap!rts Exploit:Win32/CplLnk.B  Webroot does remove few Malware(s) I have on my system but for some reason there are few Active Threats. Why does Webroot not remove them from system. I did a custom scan to scan all my 'C:' drive then I did a Deep scan then I did a Full scan. Why has Webroot still not detect these Malware(s).    Other Information:   Som

err no data received message when trying to connect to internet

After installing, we randomly get the ERR NO DATA RECEIVED message when trying to connect to the internet.  It's driving me crazy!  There is no rhyme or reason it just seems random.  Then all of a sudden, I get connected.

I have some kind of malware on my computer that randomly plays audio ads. How can I remove it?

I restored my computer to a known point when this adware wasn't playing, but it is still running. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Site Advisor Stopped Working

I now get an error message that Windows reports that "site advisor has stopped working" and that windows will look for a solution to the problem. Next time i open a website, i get the same message. Does that have to do with recently installing Secure Anywhere?

My computer keeps telling me that my settings are not correct to download a PDF file.

Is this a Virus?

So I have Webroot installed on my computer i bought in March. I just received in my outlook on one of my email addresses 10 emails with MAIL Undelievered to people i know i didnt send emails to! I looked at the send messages and all that was in there were LINKS. I immediately changed my password for email. But do i have a virus now? My computer has been runnin slower and freezing up. I thought WEBROOT would protect me from viruses? How do i find out if i have one this Webroot gave me no messages that i did?! I dont know much about that stuff   Any help appreciated.

How can I disable the "personalized security report" from popping up every time I load Windows?
