My brother’s Windows 11 laptop is infected with a search engine virus called searchgoose. The laptop has Webroot installed on it, but it’s unable to remove the virus. How do I remove searchgoose with webroot? Or do I have to try an alternate method?

Hello @Tubbybloxian

I would recommend calling Webroot Support. They can fix this problem.

Webroot Support:

Submit a ticket 24/7/365

Call 1-866-612-4227  during the week Mon - Fri 7 AM to 5:30 PM (MDT)

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

You might try this solution:

~Remove link to other tools as Webroot likes to look after there own Customers~
