Kaseya Connect 2026 brought together MSPs, vendors, security professionals, and IT leaders for several days of discussions around where the industry is heading next. And one theme was impossible to miss: operational efficiency driven by AI and automation (can you believe it?)Across keynotes, breakout sessions, and hallway conversations, the focus remained centered on helping MSPs manage growing complexity while maintaining strong security outcomes for customers. Topics ranged from AI-assisted operations and workflow automation to reducing alert fatigue, improving technician efficiency, and consolidating sprawling security and IT management stacks.Another major theme throughout the event was the continued evolution of MDR, SIEM, and integrated security operations platforms as providers look to simplify visibility and response across increasingly complex environments. For OpenText Cybersecurity, it was great connecting directly with partners and MSPs throughout the event and hearing first
IT Nation Connect 2025 brought together thousands of MSPs, IT leaders, and channel innovators at the Hilton Orlando. Across the keynotes, panels, and booth conversations, one message stood out:AI-powered automation and open integration are shaping the next era of managed security.OpenText Cybersecurity joined the conversation to share how intelligent automation, flexible integrations, and global threat intelligence are empowering MSPs to deliver stronger protection and measurable outcomes for their clients. The event balanced technical innovation with a spirit of collaboration that continues to define the channel community. EXPO HALL AND BOOTH HIGHLIGHTS More than 150 vendors showcased advancements in automation, security, and managed IT. At Booth 265, the OpenText Cybersecurity team engaged with a steady flow of partners and visitors eager to learn how our solutions help MSPs strengthen defenses, streamline operations, and improve client outcomes. Many attendees already recognized Open
DattoCon 2025 brought together more than 2,200 MSPs, IT professionals, and channel partners at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach to focus on a clear message: AI-powered automation is becoming the new competitive advantage.Across sessions, booths, and networking events, the recurring theme was simple - MSPs that embrace intelligent automation will thrive, while those who resist risk competing only on price. The event reflected a broader shift in how managed service providers view their role in driving business outcomes. Back at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, DattoCon 2025 continued its tradition of blending business with atmosphere. The oceanfront setting, warm October weather, and open layout created the right mix of focus and collaboration. EXPO HALL & BOOTH ACTIVITIES The expo hall hosted more than 80 vendors showcasing their latest innovations, with a clear emphasis on measurable outcomes instead of feature lists. At Booth #105, the OpenText Cybersecurity team had a steady flow
This year’s Black Hat felt MASSIVE. Keynotes were packed, the expo hall was buzzing from open to close, and the energy was back in full Vegas force. If there was one phrase floating through every hallway, booth, and coffee line, it was “AI in everything” from offensive tooling to defensive automation, it is clear we have only scratched the surface of what is coming. Observers agree that AI is no longer a side topic. It has moved to the center of the cybersecurity conversation. Publications like CSO Online note that agent-driven AI is reshaping threat intelligence and response. Other analysts see it as a natural evolution in security operations. Weather was classic August Vegas at the Mandalay Bay (triple digits, of course), but mercifully cooler than last year’s extremes. REGISTRATION Check-in was smooth and fast this year. Whether attendees had the QR code or only their email address, the process was quick and well-organized. Compared to past years, the improved flow was a welcom
2023 was the LARGEST Black Hat yet! The crowds were very large at every keynote and in the expo hall. Compared to last year - we are definitely back and beating pre-Covid numbers. I’m just going to say that Artificial Intelligence was the buzzword of the conference and you couldn’t attend a single briefing or visit a booth without hearing it. It’s definitely not going anywhere 🤖 Another long post coming so get that scroll wheel ready 🤠 Weather was typical Vegas HOT at the Mandalay Bay (102f), but not as hot as it had been the week before we all arrived - which was a scorching 113f🔥 Thankfully there was no flash flooding like last year. REGISTRATION I’m happy to report that Black Hat finally have registration down and can handle the massive amount of crowds. Even if you don’t have the handy QR code, you can still get a speedy process with just your email. This is a welcome change from previous years and I no longer dread registration - THANK YOU! This looks almost identical to las
The RSA Conference 2023 has come and gone, but the excitement it brought to our community is still very much alive! As one of the most anticipated events in the cybersecurity world, this year's conference did not disappoint. In this post, we'll take you on a visual journey through some of the highlights, featuring snapshots from innovative booths, introductions to our expert presenters, and a not-so brief synopsis of the thought-provoking briefings that I had the privilege of attending. Get ready to dive into the world of cybersecurity and relive the energy that permeated RSA Conference 2023! EXPO HALL The Expo hall at RSA Conference 2023 was a true embodiment of excitement and innovation, buzzing with energy as industry professionals and cybersecurity enthusiasts alike gathered to explore the latest br
I have missed several webinars because they aren’t on my calendar. I am surprised that Open Text hasn’t added the Outlook calendar link or iCal link for the iphone as options for adding event reminders to our calendars after we sign up. Could these calendar links be added for future webinars?
As I scroll through the topics in this section I am noticing there aren’t any recent posts in the Events & Conferences tab. If it’s not in use anymore maybe it should be removed altogether from the community. I’ve been able to find current events under the “Events” tab in the main menu bar.
Where can I find a list of local webroot in-person events? I enjoy attending local IT events and meeting vendor representatives. Does Webroot ever host events for individual partners?
@TylerM, when we attend an event that is one of those in the challenges section of luminaries and part of the challenge is to provide proof of your attendance, will we be reminded during the event to take the screenshot? Teri
We’re back in almost full force at BlackHat 2022! The crowds were definitely back compared to last year and while not quite what they used to be pre-Covid, it definitely feels like we’re closer to getting back to normal 😎. This post is going to be a long one, so get that scrolling finger ready. The calm before the storm ⛈🌧Weather at the Mandalay Bay was usual Vegas hot, but as I’m sure many if you saw it took a turn for the worse with flash floods towards the end of the conference heading into DEFCON (heaviest rainfall in 10 years!) USA TODAYREGISTRATION Registration was much more organized that previous years and it was as simple as scanning a QR code and then going to a station to collect your backpack. It was definitely busy with lines the day of the opening keynote, but the day before wasn’t bad at all. They really upped their game from last year when they had technical difficulties and the lines wrapped around the pillars, so Kudos to Mandalay Bay + BlackHat. Backpacks are

Join Kiran Kumar on June 11th at 9AM MDT or 5:30PM MDT Until now working out accurately what licenses are actively being charged for has become more difficult as we add new services for you to offer to your Clients’. For both of our bottom lines it needs to be really easy to know precisely where you stand with active and chargeable Webroot licenses. We want the control already given to you over issuing licenses as you wish - to be matched with visibility of precisely what you should be charging your Client(s) on any specific day for any solution. Webroot My Usage brings together all of that data into one place to give you instant access to that information via any browser, or Webroot management console, at any time. These two short webinars (see local times when you register) introduce and demonstrate how to access My Usage and immediately benefit from the new information it provides. Reserve your spot now!
