Problem with VPN.I have been unable to access my computer in the internet because my webroot VPN does not allow me.The only way I get to the internet is by disconnecting the VPN. Once connected to internet, reconnecting back the VPN cuts me out.Please help.

Not able to log into Webroot VPN for USA west or USA east from Denver, Colorado.  Have not be able to log in for 2 days.  Can this problem be fixed?

Hi Webroot CommunityI was wondering if anyone else has noticed WSA not always being recognised as the Default Virus and Threat Protection App in Windows 11.I was looking at the Windows 11 Security Centre and noticed the PC had reverted to Windows Defender as the Default Default Virus and Threat Protection App.The other thing I have noticed is on Bootup the Security Centre takes a couple of Minutes to Decide the Default Virus and Threat Protection App.I did a fresh install of Windows 11, and  WSA was the first app I installed and Windows Security took a couple of minutes to acknowledge WSA.Kind regardsSXR6

Hi Webroot UsersI have a 3 Device Licence.When I log into my Webroot Account and look at Security Summary I see a list of 27 Devices.I actually went through the Process of Uninstalling Webroot from the 3 Devices, then removed each device from the list.I logged out and logged back into my Webroot Account and Security Summary showed Zero Devices in the list.I then reinstalled Webroot on the 3 Devices and Security Summary is listing 27 Devices again.Any ideas please on why this is happening?Kind regards,SXR6

Hello, my website https://zarno.app is being flagged as malicious by Webroot, while every other security vendor on VirusTotal marks it as clean. It’s a legitimate web application for delivery drivers. The domain is newly registered, which I believe is why it’s being flagged by default. Could you please review and reclassify it as safe?

Hi - the most recent conversation re your UCS was 10 months ago, where it was called out that it doesn’t run as a service.Has this been resolved yet?  The install docs don’t reference anything about services.Thanks,Andy 

This evening I got a pop up evert from Webroot when I turned on my computer. It wants me to allow or block the request if I am unfamiliar with it. But there is nothing in the window where it usually lists who wants permission. And no details either if I click the button. It has put up 7 or 8 of those pop ups so far. How am I suppose to decide if it doesn’t tell who it is to allow or deny.Usually when I repeated pop ups, it it about Nvidia container. So maybe that’s what this is but how would I know with no information provided.I checked identity shield but there is nothing listed as blocked or allowed.I used my computer earlier today, but this didn’t happen.And I just got another one. 

Sorry, but again multiple issues: some still unresolved from last contact here . #1: Cannot access console.“Error(SEL004): Console cannot be opened, please contact Webroot support”When I log into “My Account” , suggests I have 19 PCs protected !!#2: Webroot literally vanished from one of my PCs some time  in the last couple of weeks.Not sure what precipitated this event.Empty Webroot Folder in ProgramsNo  WRCore or WRData folders.Pretty comprehensive uninstall !!So:Reinstalled.Same base line settings as other my PCsNow hyperlinks in Emails disconnect the internet and will not load.Outlook will not receive.No bookmarks will load: Internet disconnects “ Cannot load Page : Check Connections etc etc”Disabling Webroot =  fully functional Outlook and Ethernet connection. #3: I never had an answer as to why a scan quarantined a multiple Domain Zone Mappings in myu HKU registry.For the record 3 other PCs with Webroot installed years ago working fine.So: Problem with new install ??Really unhapp

i am having little program errors her and there i scan this web root it tells me no problems but it feals like some thing is not just right.

As a sacn is in progress, one or more files pop up as a red dialog about a “bad” file. being a trojan. However, I know it is not.  So I uncheck it, and close the dialog. Then it pops up again some time later flagged exactly the same way. In other virus software I have used, I could flag a file as safe and unless the file changed (different checksum?) the file would not be reported again.  I find no such method on WSA. Does this exist and I am just not seeing it, or do you not support such a function. Because it is annoying as can be to have to tell the software over and over and over and over and over…. You get the picture. If this is not in the current program, might I request it as a future feature? Given the period between Mac releases, I suspect I will have to put up with this for at least several year, but it would be appreciated to remember specific files (by name, location, change date, checksum) as safe and to not flag them unless something else changes.  Or at the least an ign

Okay, so this morning when I tried to log into account.webroot.com, it says an error occured whuile processing your request. Anyone else? What is with all the website problems and changes lately?

One more observation just occurred to me. I have issues a shutdown WSA from the Mac menu bar. Sometime later after plugging in an external drive I use regularly, the waring of a trojan infected file (the very same one mentioned below) pops up. Really? Even when I believe I am shut down  Or do I just misunderstand what it means when I select “Shut Down SecureAnywhere”  Are the certain things that keep running in the background?  Curious why I see that warning when I believe protection is off. Thanks.

Anyone else see this issue and hopefully have a work around:When I mount a DMG disk image, or plug in a USB drive to my MacBookPro, I cannot eject it because I am told one or more  programs may be using it. This even happens if NO programs are shown as running. I have noted that if I quit WSA (shut it down) I can then eject these drives  But WSA scanning the drives  it seems leaves some process open that still has an active pin to the drives.  I do not want to force eject an HD, or even a DMG as it can damage the image or drive. Suggestions anyone? (FYI: Webroot Customer Service suggested I shut down WSA, eject the drive, and then turn it back on. WORST SOLUTION EVER.) 

Every time I go to log in WiFi security I have to get a new password.  I have done this several times.  Why does the system not remember my pass word.  I am trying to put WiFi security on a new computer now.  I have a pass for 5 computers.  I cannot get logged in because of this pass word issue.  Thankyou.

While browsing in the website “The Conservative Treehouse” I repeatedly keep getting pop-up warnings, supposedly from Webroot, that it has blocked the following website as a suspected phishing site: “safebytetech.live”. Can anyone advise about this?

I have rather a lot of questions for Webroot support. That said, the main way to ask is to do so through their console. When I sign in, I continuously get an error message to contact support...which is why I am trying to sign in here to do...so it is a rather cruel cycle. Any insight?

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the console this morning? I logged in to check the scan log. It wouldn’t open and I got this message: Error(SEL004): Console cannot be opened, please contact Webroot support. I did put in a support ticket. I just want to see if anyone else is having this experience. I tried both Chrome and Edge and another computer.
