I've been reading the articles and I kept asking if Webroot was one of the companies. I kept getting a scripted response from Webroot saying something along the lines of "Webroot is aware of the alleged attacks, and we have no evidence of a compromise to our business. Security is at the core of what we do, and we have a dedicated internal information security team and robust processes and procedures to safeguard the company, our products and our data."
Just found out it was Symantec (Norton), Trend Micro, and McAfee - https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/fxmsp-chat-logs-reveal-the-hacked-antivirus-vendors-avs-respond/
