Thank you Webroot customers for naming Webroot as the winner of the PC Mag Readers' Choice Award for best antivirus in 2019!

Webroot received the highest ratings in our survey on every question for which it had at least 50 responses, and in many cases, it beat its competition by a wide margin. Aside from satisfaction with cost (8.4), every question rated 9.1 or higher. (Satisfaction with cost was only asked of respondents who said they used the paid version of the product. We presume people using the free version of software are happy with cost.)

Webroot, you did it again in 2020!!!  This time for Home security Suites.

I don’t know why this was missed by this thread but … Webroot was also the winner of the PC Mag Business Choice Awards 2020: Security Software. So it came out on top not only with the PC Mag Private Consumers Survey but also the PC Mag Corporate Users Survey:

“Now a two-time winner for home use in our Readers' Choice survey, Webroot's also got plenty of happy customers on the business side. It shot ahead of last year's dual winners to take the top spot for 2020 with unbeatable scores in every category we measure.“

Great addition, @Muddy7 . Thanks for this!

All well & good, but comparing the stats with last year’s it looks like the competition is catching up...that is a real shame...to put it mildly.

Fair point! But consider the comparison when it comes to Business Choice Awards.:
2019
2020

That appears to show an impressive recovery from the appalling April 2017 incident where a Webroot update was deleting multiple Windows system files from company networks, with the inevitable and considerable reputational damage and so to its “bottom line”.

Also, surely it is good news if overall customer satisfaction with security software solutions is rising?

Having said that, I agree that unless Webroot has the cleverest heads attempting to keep abreast with a fast evolving malware environment, its future superior performance relative to the competition will be far from guaranteed :slight_frown: .
