I’ve been a Webroot customer for many years and never had any problems until now.
I was seeing a “webroot agent is shutdown...” message and followed the uninstall/reinstall instructions. But the character-box kept giving me an error message.
How can I remove Webroot from my computer and terminate my service for now?

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. Are you running a Mac OS by chance? You can uninstall Webroot in Safe Mode w/Networking. If you do not feel comfortable doing that then the best bet is to Submit a Support Ticket and the Support Team will gladly uninstall Webroot for you. This is a Free charge with your Webroot subscription.
Also you can call Support: US-based (Colorado) support team is available Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM MST. Call 1-866-350-6089 or call 1-866-612-4227 . You might have to stay on hold a little bit but they will help you.
