Hack/Virus?

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

A week ago, I went on You tube and tried clicking on my favorite music videos...each time I clicked I had a mini video take over.  One was a speaker touting EPOCH newsletter a second a speaker for EPOCH and a third something to do with drones.  None would allow the video to play, nor could I delete them.  The next day, all was fine.

My concern:  Was this a hack, a virus or some type of threat?

Thanks,

Allan Gair

Hello @bbbjg448

I don’t think so but it is a good idea to add a good free Ad Blocker like uBlock Origin for what ever browser you use and to get a free security check you can Submit a Support Ticket and they will let you know for sure.

Thanks,

Thanks,

You have added confirmation. I have an adblocker and did a virus check on Webroot.  It seems that all is good.  I appreciate the response.
