2nd Party purchase of Webroot Secure anywhere Purchase

I purchased a 2 yr 3 PC Webroot subscription from a Software Vender Through a large national retailer web store. SO I get an email with instructions to click on a site to down load the webroot software but when I do the Webroot I already have installed on my computer warns me not to go to that site so I do not. The Email I got from the Vender I bought Webroot Secure anywhere from the had me click here to get another email with the Key codes so then I copied and pasted a key code from that email into my Webroot Account Keycode place and so far the account expiration date has not changed can you please tell how to get my new key6 code to be accepted by Webroot Thanks
