Can Webroot scan my IoT devices for malwarre and vulnerabilities?

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Does Webroot have the ability to scan my IoT devices for malware and vulnerabilities?

Bitdefender and TrendMicro both offer this,  Avast One probably does, but you have to go ‘premium’.

Bitdefender found vulnerabilities in my BT Business Hub 6.

The forum is just volunteers not webroot staff.

We definitely have Webroot and Carbonite employees on here that know answers :)

@mross Yes we have DNS protection and you can connect all internet connected devices to it and it will block all malicious URLs and IPs to malicious webpages and files. Depending on the environment and how many devices you want to protect usually the easiest option is to route your WiFi router’s DNS through our DNS protection and then all devices connected to the router will receive the protection. Or you can just connect each device individually to the DNS service.

Thanks Tyler.  I have submitted a support ticket.  Webroot had an IoT scan tool in 2017 but it seems to have disappeared.
