I have been running quarterly phishing simulations to keep our users on their toes. I noticed that a handful of users are flagged as deferred in the Campaign Phishing Line Data. Do you often have deferred emails to your users? Do you care about them? Should we do anything about this? Thanks!

Hi @nateschoonover,

As stated  in the support documentation, deferred events generally try to resend for up to 72 hours after the initial send was attempted. Based on that criteria we recommend you track these events to ensure delivery eventually happens and if not, investigate what might be causing the issue.

Note that repeated deferred events can cause the target’s email address to be dropped, in which case the target will no longer receive any email from WSAT and to resolve that issue you will need to reach out to the support team to get the target removed from the drop list.

Thanks for using WSAT, have a great day.
