Hello my beloved comunity i want to express my gratitude look as you say me the broncos giveaway was legal and i decide to install that long trial registering the mail of my cousin, my boss and my mother. Mi mother are very happy whith webroot and windows defender on windows 8, my cousin only uses webroot and are happy and i win a licence of lavasoft and i am testing that combo, but in the office i have a big big trouble and maybe that not the place to ask for help because is a windows problem bt in ms comunity dont answer. Look the problem was that. In the office give me a computer to install webroot. They have previus installed bitdefendder is i uninstall it and run the removal tool to erase all traces but the partition of resque mode and the bios regisry of that like a storage device stays. I format the computer restore to defaults, disable from bios and for one days windows start on resque mode. I contact bitdefender silent security, and silent support, i use a tool who they say me called easy bcd that tool solves the problem partiality, i delete the bd entrance, and i know the partition created by bd stays here but dont care, maybe they tell me how to delete the problem was my boot not notmal appears select os black screen on the starts for less than a second and then windows starts normaly i dont know how to atach images here but on ms config boot says windows 8.1 (C:/Windows): Actual system; dedault system and on advanced system config are unchecked show os availbe list and show recovery options says os predeterminated win 8.1 and desplegate a list hard drive, floppy disk, usb hard disk, realtek ipv4 realtek ipv6 and that devices never appears before bitdefender problem. OS runs well smothly and webroot works fine do you have some ideas to solve my problem?

No i dont know whath partition is but now i can start normally let me explain my temp solutilm in a few hours

If I understand you correctly you have uninstalled BitDefender but the BitDefender Rescue Mode is still installed and you want to remove it completely?
If that is the case then you should consider running the BitDefender Uninstall Tool (available from the BitDefender website). That should take care of it for you.
Given that this is a Webroot Forum and that BitDefender is a competitor I will not post links and the like on this in open forum.

I ask you because i trust on you and a good vompany comunity solve the problems who made others for example ms have a vulnerable system and av companies get rid virus es second example an another av make a disaster and i think if webroot solve it can atract more qnd more people to use their products. In other forums pwople dont answers and you answer i not only are using more webroot alone in computers i made of that forum my principal forum always answer . And want to share this solution.
Maybe someone move from bd to webroot and that was useful
a) the control panel and thhe removal tool dont work formar pc does not too
b) easy bcd can let ged rid the another product bd resque from bios and windos boot loader boot ini mrb
c) Linux live cd and partition magic can help to locate and delete bd part but i research more the other poins are comprobated by myself
As you can see i dont promote bd i like combos and try it and tell if work Or no work maybe i am not the only whith this inquietudes and maybe it helps more people to cpnvincing a way in webroot Works.
